I’ve been trying to upload a video to Youtube since yesterday and never get it done.
Upload Failed: An unknown error occurred.
Uploading big file(s) always been frustrating when you have unstable Internet connection. My mobile CDMA provider was having a pretty good speed, but lately it’s getting worse, and even my yahoo messenger almost disconnected all the time.
After a whole day troubleshooting, I found out this plugin to resolve this problem.
The solution is easy, use the Youtube’s Bulk Upload plugin
If you’ve never used Youtube’s Bulk Upload plugin before, you will be prompted to install GearsSetup.exe, then restart the Firefox.
Now, every time I want to upload videos to YouTube, I will use this Youtube’s Bulk Upload plugin.
It works like a charm.

I've had this error's too. For me the only solution was: Do not, do not… upload with Windows XP. Do upload with Windows Vista or Windows 7. Than it shall work smoothly and without failures (most times !).
