]]> Today, I received my first payment from Google Adsense. I didn’t realize that my earnings has reached payment threshold because Google Adsense isn’t my main concern. When I checked the payment history this morning, I found out that payment of last month (October+November=payment threshold) has been issued since Dec. 23rd.

]]> If you were using a VCC (Virtual Credit Card) to verify your PayPal account, your PayPal account will remain to verified status. You will be able to send money or withdraw money into your bank account. Yes, you can use verified PayPal account with expired VCC inside. However, you won’t be able to use PayPal with expired VCC inside to make monthly subscription payment such as hosting, or any other subscription services that require automatic scheduled payment.
I’ve been becoming PayPal verified member since February 2009 using VCC, which is expired last month. However, I’m still using my PayPal account as usual, accept payments, send money, as well as withdraw to my bank account without problems, even though the VCC is already expired. Today, I was getting a problem because my VCC is expired.
PayPal requested to Update My Expired Credit or Debit Card, although I have enough balance in my PayPal account.

To complete this payment, add a debit or credit card to your PayPal account. Your card will not be charged unless the transaction amount exceeds your balance.

Another blogger was getting the similar problem before, and he contacted the VCC seller about it and the seller only offer Rp. 45,000 to extend the VCC usage. But, when I’m chatting with the seller, she told me to buy another new VCC for only Rp 70,000. Funny, why do I get different price?

Well, it’s not a big deal. Finally, my account could be used to create quarterly subscription payment for new hosting that will be available soon.

]]> At the beginning of the year (February 2009), i tried to submit an application to Google adsense. Within few days, my Google adsense application was approved. I was using my blog which using blogspot.com to apply Google adsense in BAHASA INDONESIA.
Yeah, I was using language which is not supported for Adsense for content.
Since the first time my adsense application got approved, I’ve never done anything with it. Until last month, I was interested to explore adsense business seriously.
But, according to Google AdSense Help, What languages does AdSense support?, Adsense for content is not available for Indonesian and Vietnamese.

Unfortunately, adsense for content is not available for Indonesian publishers.

People suggested to contact AdSense support via e-mail ( adsense-support [at] google [dot] com ). It didn’t work, this e-mail doesn’t accept incoming e-mail anymore.

The others said, no need to change the website, simply put the adsense code in any page you wanted. Well, they perhaps didn’t know that Adsense for Search not available for Indonesian and Vietnamese.

The last suggestion is Create new Google adsense account. But, i thought Google do not permit multiple accounts. But i kept try it, and this is what i got.

While reviewing your application, we noticed that your account information matches a currently approved AdSense account associated with xxxx.xxxx.xxxx@gmail.com. Please remember that your ad code from that account can be used on any website that complies with our programme policies. Here is the solution if you experiencing similar problem:
So, if you need to change the primary website for your Google adsense account, simply close your current adsense account by clicking here: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py?contact=cancellation&hl=id
After that, you can submit new application with new primary website.

NOTE: Read TOS carefully, especially if you already have earning in your current account.
