Nero Recode specially created to convert the film. It can convert into a format either DVD or Nero Digital that already using MPEG4. To set the bit rate, nero recode have two types of settings: Sharp and Maximum sharpness. Unfortunately, this option is not available to users. In fact, if you can choose to use Maximum sharpness mode, the video quality could be better. But, although the option is not available in Nero Recode option program, you still can improve the quality of dvd recode by changing the following registry settings.
- Run Registry Editor by clicking Start – Run, type in regedit.
- Go to sub key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ahead\Nero Recode\Preferences\
- Find DWORD: DeepAnalysis. Put 1 in value.
- Find DWORD: CompressMode. Put 3 in value.
- Close Registry Editor then restart your PC
